Madeleine “Lindi” Burgess, MS, RN, FNP-BC
Lindi is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Nurse
Credentialing Center. She obtained her BSN in 1977 from Rush University in
Chicago and worked in a variety of nursing roles and settings before earning her MS in Community Health Nursing and Primary Care in
2001/2002 from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN.
She has traveled widely in her work and was on a national travel team for 4
years before moving to New Mexico. Her experience spans primary care,
GYN, pediatrics, geriatrics, and sleep medicine. However, her keenest
interest and most recent area of study has been biotoxin illness and illnesses related to toxic environmental exposures after she herself acquired CIRS
(Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) from exposure to toxic mold.
Lindi attended the recent Mold Congress, 2019 and the Surviving Mold
Proficiency Partners Course after moving to Roswell, NM in October, 2018 to join Dr. McMahon in his environmental work. She is committed to seeking
out root causes of illness in her patients and helping them, through
collaborative partnership, to reverse the trajectory of their total health.
She loves being outdoors in any variety of God’s creation, has 2 dear children, and 3 precious grandchildren.
